For the majority of appliances in your home, a standard 230 volt socket is sufficient. In some cases, however, it is necessary to have a socket with more power. This is the case, for example, when you cook on induction. With this type of cooking, a magnetic field is formed which requires considerably more energy than a standard socket can provide. A perilex connection is ideal in that case. A perilex connection supplies twice the amount of 230 volts, twice as much as a normal wall socket. Installing a perilex connection is extremely difficult.
