All of MrFix’s rates are fair and transparent. The rates for handymen in Amsterdam are exactly the same as in the rest of the Netherlands.
They differ per type of professional: for our painters and all-round handyman for example, there is a fixed rate of €55 per man hour. For electricians it is €80 and for plumbers it is €95 per hour. All rates include VAT and we do not allow contractors to levy call-out charges or other hidden extras.
For jobs that require more than one day’s work, we advise you to ask for a fixed price quote: this offers maximum certainty in advance. If you provide enough information (e.g. via the WhatsApp group we set up for you), it can be done without a recording visit: this saves you and the tradesman time and money.
