““We are looking for an estimate (or quote). We need jobs 1)-3) to start on or soon after 29 May but would also appreciate a quote for Jobs 4) and 5). Please refer to the floor plans for measurements: the figures below are estimates only.
**1) 1st floor bathroom:**
– Replace thin wooden floor by waterproof floor (concrete / cement) of 2 x 2.11 meters (so 4.22 m2)
– Tile the floor (we have GRORIGMUD75 75X75X0.90cm tiles from Impermo.be)
– Prepare the walls for tiling
– Tile the walls all the way to the ceiling (2.8m high, so ~20 m2 of wall).
– Install ‘inbouwtoilet’
– Install rain shower
– Install sink and taps
– Install glass shower cabin (walls only)
**2) Ground floor toilet:**
– install a small ‘inbouwtoilet’ (see floor.plan.ground.jpg)
– Install + connect sink with taps
– Tile the floor (~1x1m)
– Tile the walls (up to 120cm, so ~4 m2)
We have bought the materials at Impermo. Wall tiles: Flanders white IMURATE65 13.00×6.50
**3) Tile ~17 m2 floor of entrance hall**
**4) Pipes:**
A plumber gave us a quote for renewing all pipes (which contain lead) in the house and ‘hide’ them in the walls.
**5) Build new bathroom in attic: (** now or after Summer, depending on budget)
shower cabin with rainforest shower, toilet bowl and wash basin (we’re in the process of choosing them from Mueller).
– Lay concrete / cement floor (please quote cost for building in floor heating separately)
