MrFix is a building care service for busy people anywhere in The Netherlands. We arrange an appointment with the right local painter, electrician or other expert within 1 hour. Our experts do all building repair & improvement jobs. We hand-pick reliable experts, screen them and help them do the job right 1st time. You pay MrFix securely afterwards via iDeal, bank transfer or credit card. If anything should go wrong, you have the contractor’s guarantee and we intervene to make sure he puts it right. If you entrust your job to us we will save you time, disputes & overcharging.
The best way to request a Job is via the MrFix app:

We process the jobs you submit via the MrFix app or https://MrFix.nl immediately. Our system matches your Job and mails you the expert’s appointment proposal 24/7, normally within 1 hour. You can confirm, edit or reschedule the visit 24/7 for free via our app and chat with the expert immediately too. In addition, during our office hours (Mon-Fri 9:00-13:00h & 14:00-19:00h, Sat-Sun 13:00-17:00h) your Job gets personal attention. We check your Job and call you if anything is unclear. And we reach out directly to our pre-screened professionals to find time in their schedules for your Job. And if you type ‘@MrFix’ in the Chat we will respond within 2 hours.

Of course you are welcome to stay on site during the Job, but you don’t have to. Many Clients make appointments for 8-9 AM, show the expert around and go to work. Do ask the expert to share a ‘before’ photo in the Chat as soon as he enters and an ‘after’ photo as soon as he finishes. And if your partner, tenant or colleague lets the expert in you can register them as an Access Contact and they can even join the Chat if you wish.
Yes, the expert (not MrFix) can supply the material for your job, if you wish: that usually works best. In fact, plumbers and electricians only guarantee their labour on material that they purchased. And painters give a much longer (often 10 year) warranty on work with the quality paint that they buy: that really works out better for you in the end. Do note that the expert charges the time for choosing, ordering, purchasing and collecting materials.
When we started our service in 2010, we found that Clients often went through the entire estimate/quote process but the expert turned out not to be available when the Client needed him. Our best painters, for instance, are usually fully booked ~12 months ahead. So we ask the Client to indicate at the start when the expert is welcome. We then mail the the expert’s appointment proposal together with his estimate/quote.
If you ordered a guarantee and the expert does not execute your instructions right 1st time, he will return to put it right. He should not charge this extra labour, just any materials and parking costs. If you are not satisfied it is key to inform the expert immediately: preferably when he is still present and also via the Chats, so you have a written record and MrFix can support you. We do our best to ensure that the expert treats the Client fairly and we have an excellent long-term relationship with our experts, but MrFix is not their employer or the Client: that is you.
