According to Marcel the most effective way to prevent clogging of your drain is to keep fat and any other greasy substance away from your drain. If you want to clean a pan with grease then first remove the liquid fat by putting it into a small cup or jar. Then clean the pan by using a piece of toilet or kitchen paper. Get rid of the cup or jar and fatty paper by using the regular garbage procedures. Don’t use the toilet for that!
