Fit IKEA kitchen - Rate
Installing/Replacing an IKEA kitchen typically requires a few experts, each with different rates:
- First a plumber (€85/h), white goods expert (€95/h) and/or electrician (€80/h) to install/adapt the plumbing/power supply, for instance for a dishwasher or induction oven
- Then a tiler (€60/h)for the backsplash and sometimes a separate flooring specialist and/or Painter (both €50/h)
- And finally a handyman (€50/h) to install the cabinets & worktop and connect the taps & appliances, although this last step may again require a plumber or white goods expert
MrFix recommends that you get a general contractor by completing the form above. The regular rate of €50 per hour including VAT and call-out charge is for jobs of less than 8h and for any inspection visits. Fitting an IKEA kitchen often takes more than 8 man hours so we recommend an inspection and a quote. The quote will normally reflect a discount to the blended rate of the required experts.
