Our electricians charge a fixed rate of €80 per hour including VAT and call-out charge. This is a fair rate without any ‘hidden’ extras. It is not the lowest rate but it offers the best value for money.

Infrared motion sensors and window and door contact sensors always have to be connected to the central alarm unit. In general cable connections are more reliable than wireless connections. For cable connections you need an experienced professional. Someone who chooses the right type of cable and who knows how to avoid damage to vulnerable sensor components. It should be a professional electrician who knows how to pull cables through existing pipes and knows how to keep them neatly tucked away. We recommend hiring an experienced MrFix electrician.

How to fill out the form:

• Select the “JOB TYPE” and give a short description of the job under “JOB SUMMARY”
• For clarification you may add 1 or 2 photos. This is not required but can be helpful!
• Make your “DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF JOB” as detailed as possible: specify type of product, numbers, locations, distances, obstacles (if any) and special requirements.
• Select “An expert ASAP” or if you prefer “First a quote”. If you choose “First a quote” then we will provide the expert’s estimate. But if the job is bigger than ~€500 / 1 day of work we will quote his fixed price, usually after a (paid) inspection visit.

 
Installing new cables sometimes requires plasterwork afterwards. In most cases MrFix electricians can do this themselves, but if you prefer MrFix can arrange a specialist plastener
