Install electrical cables - Rate

Our electricians charge a fixed rate of €80 per hour including VAT and call-out charge. This is a fair rate without any ‘hidden’ extras. It is not the lowest rate but it offers the best value for money.
 

Installing cables for new power sockets or lights

 
Installing a new wall socket or adding new lights often means pulling additional electrical cables. This requires experience.
 
It is important to know which cable to connect where. Yes, the colours of the cables will help but still the risk of short circuit is high and serious.
 
Moving a wall socket often requires plasterwork afterwards. Often MrFix electricians can do this themselves, but if you prefer MrFix can arrange a specialist plastener

How to request an electrician:

  • Select the “JOB TYPE” and give a short description of the job under “SHORT JOB DESCRIPTION”
  • You can add 1 or 2 photos if you think it is helpful.
  • Make your “DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION” as detailed as possible: specify kind of cables, what items should be connected, distances, obstacles, or other hurdles.
  • Choose “An expert ASAP” or “First a quote”. If you select “First a quote” then you get the expert’s estimate. But if the job is bigger than ~€500 / 1 day of work we normally give you his fixed price, usually after a (paid) inspection visit.
