Gardener - Rate
MrFix gardener rates are fair and transparent. The experts charge a fixed rate of €55 per man hour including VAT and call-out charge.
For projects that take more than one day of work / ~€500 we recommend that you request a quote (fixed price) for maximum certainty in advance. In addition, most professionals offer a discount (often 10–20%) on the standard gardener rate for such large projects as well as on periodical (for instance monthly) maintenance.
Normally a quote requires an inspection visit beforehand which is charged at the standard €55/h gardener rate. But if you provide sufficient information (e.g. via the special WhatsApp group MrFix creates for you) you may even get a quote without the usual initial visit: that saves you and the gardener time and money.

How to request a gardener:
- Select the “JOB TYPE” and summarise your request under “JOB SUMMARY”
- You can add 1 or 2 photos from your PC, tablet or smartphone. This is not required but can be helpful!
- Make your “DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF JOB” as precise as possible: please specify measures, obstructions or other limitations. A specific issue worth mentioning is whether you want the expert to remove the waste. And if so, can he access the garden directly or will he have to transport the waste through your house? Finally, should he take the waste to the nearest recycling point, as most municipalities require?
- Choose if you prefer “An expert ASAP” or “First a quote”. If you choose “First a quote” then we will provide the expert’s estimate except if the project is bigger than ~€500 / 1 day of work. In the latter case we quote his fixed price, usually after a (paid) inspection visit.

Urgent gardener assignments – Surcharge
On page 2 of the request form you can indicate how urgent your gardener assignment is by clicking the dates that are too far in the future: they will turn red. For instance, you can leave today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow green. We will connect you to the right gardener for such an urgent gardening job within 1 hour, and often faster than that. Please note: there is a 50% surcharge if it is even more urgent and the gardener must start within 24 hours, after 18h, on weekends or on a holiday.
