By using our service Clients and experts explicitly ask MrFix to create a WhatsApp group for them as soon as we have matched the job, i.e. found the Client a suitable expert who is willing and able to do the requested job. However, you can leave the group any time by tapping ‘Group Info’ in the kebab menu (3 dots) on the top right-hand side of your WhatsApp screen and then ‘Exit group’.
 
As soon as we find a suitable expert available we mail the Client and the expert the expert’s appointment proposal. We then create a WhatsApp group so the Client can confirm, reschedule or cancel the proposed appointment (all free of charge). Clients & experts have found over the years that this WhatsApp group is an ideal way to communicate directly so the expert can do the job right first time. The Client can share additional text, images and videos, whereas the expert can ask questions and share advice. Please bear in mind that both of our Clients & experts are very busy and may not respond within a few hours. You can call the other by tapping ‘Group Info’ and then tapping the number (not your own) without the black MrFix logo. Some Clients and experts use more features: a (WhatsApp) video call can replace an inspection visit and the expert can share his Live Location when he is on the way to the Client.
 
MrFix supports Client and expert via the WhatsApp group, primarily by sharing a welcome message for each that summarises the appointment proposal and if required:

  • Clarifying rescheduled appointments
  • Answering questions and referring Clients and experts to helpful pages like Rates
  • Resolving any misunderstandings or disputes
  • Reminding experts to provide input for quotes and then reminding Clients to respond to them
  • Reminding experts to submit hours & costs for invoices and then reminding Clients to settle them

In addition, MrFix sends separate automated reminders to Client and expert on the morning of each appointment.
 
Clients can also request new jobs by sending a WhatsApp message to +31 6 15380087. We try to respond to WhatsApp messages within 24 hours and to emails within 7 calendar days: if your request is urgent we advise you to submit it via the form at the top of the relevant page of MrFix.nl. And Clients and experts should feel free to send MrFix questions or comments one-on-one if there is no WhatsApp group for the job yet. If they are urgent then feel free to call us on 020-675 0333 (Mon-Thu 8:00-19:00h, Fri-Sat 9:00-18:00h and Sun 15:00-19:00h).
