Book your expert before Spring begins!

Order your expert before Spring begins!

Most people prefer not to think about home repair & improvement in winter: they probably know that you can’t paint outside anyway in freezing temperatures. And you certainly don’t want to have your house renovated when it’s cold outside: imagine not being able to use your bathroom for a few days or the contractor breaking a section of an exterior wall for your home extension!

But if you only start looking for an exterior painter or contractor in April, the best professionals will be booked up for the whole outdoor season. So order your painter or contractor for big outdoor jobs in February or March at the latest: then you have a choice of the best experts and of different dates for the execution of your job.

Master Expert Rudi

Rudi has been working with MrFix for almost three years now and our Customers have rated his jobs with the maximum score of 5.0 stars, so he can call himself Master Expert. Rudi says: “beware the job peak each Spring. If you would like me to help you this Spring or Summer with exterior painting or renovation, please ask MrFix for a quote now“. This applies to all jobs that require outdoor work, such as roofing and everything the gardeners do.

Tips for hiring a building contractor

You can find more tips for hiring a home repair expert here. In summary:

  • Find a good professional who is actually available for recording and execution.
  • Make sure he is well prepared. For example, agree with painters whether furniture will be moved or covered and who will do it.
  • Anticipate & process changes and setbacks smoothly by communicating clearly. MrFix creates a WhatsApp group for you and the expert: that works really well in practice.
  • Make sure you pay a fair price for a good result: choose the quote or estimate based on quality and reliability
  • Arrange for proper aftercare and warranty: agree whether the contractor cleans and clears up and agreed what happens to leftover paint and other waste.
