{"id":426,"date":"2023-06-30T11:17:44","date_gmt":"2023-06-30T11:17:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mrfix.centum-test.site\/?page_id=426"},"modified":"2026-04-11T16:29:50","modified_gmt":"2026-04-11T16:29:50","slug":"building-maintenance-service","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mrfix.nl\/en\/building-maintenance-service\/","title":{"rendered":"Corporate Customers"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Incidental vs. ongoing support<\/h2>\n<h3>Incidental services<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nOften corporate Clients use MrFix first when their in-house maintenance team falls short:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The job requires specialist skills that your team lacks<\/li>\n<li>Your team members are occupied on other jobs<\/li>\n<li>The required team member is ill<\/li>\n<li>The team member is on holiday (in Holland that happens a lot around the Christmas &#038; Easter holidays and especially during the so-called &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/nl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bouwvakvakantie\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bouwvak<\/a>&#8216;, the traditional 3 weeks of builders&#8217; holiday in mid-Summer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Ongoing support<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nHowever, you may prefer to use our contractors on a more permanent basis. For example, one of our experts does regular repairs in the rooms of an Amsterdam hotel every Monday. And a manager of a luxury apartment block has used MrFix to find a jack-of-all-trades who works from the porter&#8217;s lodge two days a week and does all small repairs in the 60-plus apartments. We explain here how we can help you get solid value for money. Note that Corporate Clients can normally offset the Value Added Tax (VAT) on MrFix&#8217;s invoices against the VAT they charge on their own invoices, so they effectively do not pay VAT. This goes for Dutch companies but not for VvEs (Verenigingen van Eigenaren = associations of apartment owners), which cannot offset VAT.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Our hourly rates for maintenance &#038; repair jobs:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply to inspections for <a href=\"\/en\/whats-wiser-a-quote-or-an-estimate\/\">quote jobs<\/a> and to execution of smaller jobs that do not require a quote<\/li>\n<li>Range from \u20ac41.28 to \u20ac95.04 excl. VAT (\u20ac45 to \u20ac115 incl. VAT) per hour based on complexity and scarcity of skills:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/en\/professional-cleaner\/\">Professional cleaner<\/a> \u20ac41.28 excl. Note: a <a href=\"\/en\/central-heating-thermostat\/\">Central heating fitter<\/a>, <a href=\"\/en\/roofing-work\/\">Roofer <\/a>or <a href=\"\/en\/damp-protection\/\">Damp proofing specialist<\/a> are \u20ac86.78 \/ (\u20ac115 incl. VAT)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/en\/white-goods-expert\/\">White goods expert<\/a>, <a href=\"\/en\/airco\">A\/C specialist <\/a> or <a href=\"\/en\/\/furniture-upholstery\/\">Furniture upholsterer<\/a> \u20ac95.04 (\u20ac115 incl. VAT)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Are fair in both respects:\n<ul>\n<li>They enable the expert to earn a fair living. You may well find lower home repair rates elsewhere, but they provoke behaviour that our Clients do not accept: invoicing more hours than worked, levying surcharges for travel expenses etc., or cutting corners in terms of quality.<\/li>\n<li>They are as clear (see below) and &#8216;all-in&#8217; as possible: including VAT and call-out charges. Only any material costs and parking costs are extra: we can often avoid the latter by having the expert use a Client&#8217;s parking space or come by bicycle (like several of our experts in Amsterdam do). The minimum is 1 hour per man and above that we round off to the nearest half hour<\/li>\n<li>There is a 50% surcharge for jobs that <em>must<\/em> start in the evening (from 6pm), on weekends, on public holidays or urgently (within 24 hours).
